Shalom Homes Ltd. is focused on the provision of safety, stability and nurturing care specific to children who have experienced trauma, our home provides opportunities to enhance their growth, strengthen connections and be given the chance to flourish in a supportive environment.
Our Core Concepts
The Client-Centered Approach is founded upon an interactive process with the client, staff, their health professionals and the client’s family. All persons belong to a collaborative process of integrated services in which the focus is on the individual as opposed to the issues and on the individual’s strengths and abilities as opposed to barriers.
The Group Living Program houses up to five (5) children/youth, with the ability to expand to accommodate sibling groups, and provides a secure and safe living environment that addresses referral issues and on-going needs of the persons served.
